Basic furniture panels

To furnish the EU meeting venue, the Maritime Museum chose furniture made from Basic furniture panels with a beautiful wood/pattern print.

From January through June 2016, the Netherlands presided over the Council of the European Union. The meetings took place at the Scheepvaartmuseum and the Marine Etablissement Amsterdam behind it. To furnish the central meeting location for the Dutch EU Presidency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs chose the theme “exploring. A theme that refers not only to the maritime character of the meeting location and our historical heritage, but at the same time to innovation and the groundbreaking aspect of Dutch design.

The specialists in our Design and Lithography department digitized a wood pattern using the Cruse Scanner and matched it in color to the rest of the interior styling. The customer then provided us with a pattern, which was placed in black over the wood decor. By using Basic furniture panels, the meeting room was dressed with high-quality and durable conference tables.

METHOD

From idea to delivery
Your panels in 4 steps

1. Introduction & inventory

We always start with a good conversation - by phone or in person. Here we discuss your ideas, the desired style and application of the panels. We also see if you already have your own files or references. The aim of this step is to clarify your wishes and project question, so that together we have a clear basis.

2. Proposal & custom quote.

Based on the conversation, we make an initial proposal. Where possible, this includes a production sample, so that you immediately get an idea of the material, finish and dimensions. We then work this out in a transparent quotation, including the correct dimensions and a realistic planning. Once you agree, we confirm the order and start the work preparation.

3. Design control & production

You will receive the digital production files for review. These include all details, sizes and finishes. Only after your approval will we actually start production. During production we carefully monitor quality and keep you informed of progress, so you always know where you stand.

4. Packaging, logistics & delivery

After quality control, your panels are carefully packed and shipped via reliable logistics partners. So you are assured of safe delivery in perfect condition. Your project is not completed until everything is delivered to your satisfaction.
